1 New Security Message - (PHISHING/IDENTITY THEFT SCAM SUPPOSEDLY FROM "BANK OF AMERICA")

Phishing/Identity Theft Scams from "Bank of America" have become quite popular these days. The real Bank of America knows who their customers are, and they know who does and doesn't have an account with them. They do not address you as "Dear Customer"; they address you by name. And, as I've said many times before, "Do not click on a link in this type of scam. It will take you to a phishing site, where you are supposed to give out personal info. If you receive this, and you happen to have an account there, go directly to the site and never depend on e-mail such as this threatening one. You should also forward it to the fraud department for investigation.
