Warning! Warning!! Warning!!! (PHISHING/IDENTITY THEFT SCAM FROM "YAHOO"[???])

I'm dating myself here, but the subject line reminded me of an old childhood favorite TV show, "Lost in Space". The little robot (considered quite a technological advance back in 1965) would go wheeling around, shouting, "Danger! Danger! Danger!" whenever the Robinsons were going to be invaded. So now we have "Warning, warning, warning" from "Yahoo"??? I don't know. I'm assuming it is, but since it's from an att.net address and doesn't specify in the e-mail, how am I supposed to know? How will you know? The truth is, it doesn't matter, and here's how I know. If this were from att.net, I don't have an account there. If you receive an e-mail from them, Yahoo, MSN, G-mail, etc. they don't address you as "Dear Customer"--they use your actual name. They do not send e-mails demanding your personal info and give you a link in the e-mail. And they do not threaten you! So, you see, it isn't rocket science. Just take a good long look at the e-mail and you'll see it's not legit. Don't comply and don't reply, but you can forward the offending mail to customer service or their fraud departments and they will deal with it for you.
