Wading though this nonsense was quite a chore. However, I did manage to trip the lying, thieving, lowlife scammer up. I replied to her (my replies are included)—the first time, she gives me all the gory details of her sweet little deal, but I received no response the second time. When I sent her another e-mail, it bounced back, stating that the mailbox had been disabled. Gee. Imagine that. Put away your crying rag if you receive an e-mail for “Mrs. Monica Sich” and delete it. She isn’t rich, she isn’t a widow, and she isn’t dying. She probably does have brain damage—she sent this scam, and that’s enough to make anybody “Sich”. Who knows? Maybe she’ll end up getting a “scamectomy”! Be safe and be a skeptic.

Dear Friend,
I apologize if the content of this e-mail is against your moral belief. Nevertheless,
i will advise you pay close attention to the information i am about to divulge to
you with utmost confidentiality. You might probably think this is just another
scam or scheme, but i assure you that you can only know the truth if you read
carefully the content herein.
My name is Monica Sich presently in Europe for medical treatment. I was
hospitalized and bed ridden after a ghastly auto accident involving my entire
family on our way back from camping in Canne, South of France. Myself and
husband survived with major injuries. But, he died one week after the accident
as a result the injuries sustained in his brain. Moreso, the doctor has informed
me that my health condition is getting worse.
This is as a result of the head injuries i sustained from the accident which has
affected my brain and caused a major damage to my spinal cord. I am told that i
have a few months to live after a series of surgeries and tests had being
conducted. Knowing this sad development, i have decided to dispose our estate
and fund to a prudent and God fearing person; who will disburse the money
wisely for the work of charity and other ventures as he deems fit.
This decision is based on the fact that i am the only surviving person in my
family, with no extended relatives to inherit these properties. I hate to think that
the bank and security firm where we have these assets lodged will confiscate
and declare it unserviceable after my death; Hence, my
reason for this bold
decision. Although, i am a stranger to you and for all you know i could be just
another of those Internet con-artists. However, i will implore you to respond to
this e-mail with a clear conscience and "opened-eye" every step of the way until
these funds are successfully in your possession. All that you are required to do is
assist in safe-keeping this fund valued at US $25.5 Million United States Dollars
deposited in an Escrow account with a security consultancy firm in Madrid,Spain,
before it gets confiscated or declared un-serviceable.
Therefore, i seek your consent to present you as the Trustee/ForeignInvestor to
my late husband, so that the proceeds of this account can bepaid to you.
I have all the necessary information, guidelines and documents given to me by
my husband before his death. Your honest and full co-operation is all that is
required to enable us see this transaction through. But it is imminent I state to
you clearly now that this transaction will be executed through normal banking
proceedings. Although, i guarantee that this will be executed under a proper
arrangement that will be sternly monitored by me every step of the way.
I will appreciate your utmost confidentiality and discreetness in this matter until
the task is accomplished, as i dont want anything that will Jeopardize this
transaction. I know i have never met you in person, but my intuition tells me to
do this, and I hope you act sincerely. Note that, 40% of the total fund will be
given to you and family upon the successful release of this fund, And the rest
should be used in charitable work because I am now too weak and fragile to do
things myself.
Please, include your full name, resident address and phone numbers when
responding to this e-mail.
My best regards to your family,
Monica Sich
This was my response to the lowlife.
Dear "Monica Sich"
Thank you for your e-mail. I read it, and, quite frankly have to admit that I am truly amazed, so if I have offended your "moral belief", please excuse me, but I'm afraid you'll be offended anyway. I have a few questions I would like to ask you.
First of all, why did you send random e-mails? What do you know about your "undisclosed recipients"? How do you know if they are "God fearing people" or crooks? How do you know for sure?
I would also like to know how you got hold of my e-mail address? What college did I attend, if any? Where did I grow up? What do I do for a living? Where do I live? Do I live in the US, and if so, what state. What do I look like? How old am I? Am I married? Do I have children? How much money do I make annually? Am I a "God fearing" person? If so, do I attend a church? Which denomination? Or am I an agnostic/atheist? What is the one cause I am currently championing? If you can answer these questions correctly, I will believe you are for real. No, excuses, and you better be 100% accurate. Otherwise, I will treat this as a scam, and report it.
I will be waiting for your urgent response.
Very Sincerely Yours

This was the lowlife's response back to me:
My Dear,
I am so happy to hear from you,i want you to know that i decided to give this funds to an unknown person that wont have to thank me or publish my name all over,as this is the vision i have to fulfill my dream on earth and the kingdom work,If the rich keep giving to the rich, tell me how can people like you or others who are willing to work for man kind or charity get the funding to do so? this was the main reason i decided to give all i have to an unknown person as this is the vision place on my heart even though i cannot use them my self due to my present state of condition. You will never know how happy and delighted i am to have received your response to my e-mail. I got your email when i was searching for a reliable and trusted person that i can entrust my wealth to. No one can know my heart or the pain I hide as a result of my problem i face right now, but i have faith that i can trust you with certain facts that I believe would be of interest to you. I was hospitalized in 2005, January for a contusion (bleeding in the brain). I was bedridden. The pain in my head was excruciating. Then, i was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. It had spread to the lymph nodes and I was really, really scared. I have done three surgeries and six rounds of chemo and 7 weeks of radiation treatments all to no avail. Not long after my husband's death, i was contacted by the management of McLAUGHLIN FINANCE TRUST where my husband has his financial portfolio valued at (US $25,.500.000) Twenty Five Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars, which he invested years back. The bank management told me that my husband had invested his money by assessing data on 6000 traditional stocks and bond managers and 2000 managers of alternative investments. The accrued profit and interest stood at this point over US $2 Million United States Dollars.
In mid 2005, he asked that the money be liquidated because he needed to make an urgent investment requiring cash payments in the U.S. He directed that the funds be liquidated and had it deposited with a firm. The funds were made available to him and deposited in a security consultancy firm, the firm is a specialist private firm that accepts deposits from high net worth individuals and blue chip corporations that handle valuable products or undertake transactions that need immediate access to cash. This small and highly private organization is familiar especially to the highly placed and well-connected organizations. In line with instructions, the money was deposited.
Not until his death, when the security firm informed the bank of the inactivity of his portfolio after so many years. The bank immediately launched an investigation into possible surviving next of kin to alert them about the situation and also to come forward to claim his estate. In his bio-data form, he of course listed me as his only surviving next of kin, but with my present state of health, i don't think i will be around long enough to utilize the funds to its full capacity. I was just informed by the bank last week that the firm will by the end of this financial year broadcast a request for statements of claim to McLAUGHLIN FINANCE TRUST failure to receive viable claims, will lead to reverting the deposit back to McLAUGHLIN FINANCE TRUST. This will result in the money entering the bank's accounting system and the portfolio will be out of my hands and out of the Private Banking Services Department. Hence, my reason for contacting you to present you to the bank and security firm as my surviving next of kin. Additionally, i want you to know that, Good fortune has blessed you with a name that has planted you into the center of relevance in my life. Thus saying, i believe you don't have any doubt about the genuineness of this transaction. I have already delegated my Attorney, to assist you with all the proceedings of the transfer of the fund to you. You can contact him through his contact details below. He will guide you through on what you are required to do for the funds to be transferred to you. Please don't forget to always keep me posted as the transfer of the fund progresses.
With love,
Monica Sich

This was my response back to the lowlife:
Dear "Monica Sich"
You certainly are quick with your reply! Which actually has brought up another question. If you have sustained such brain damage, how do you manage to use a computer, or do you have someone doing your typing for you?
I also noticed that you gave a very detailed explanation about the funds in question, but you did not answer my questions. So, please, before I can make any move in your favor, I need those answers. This is not a game, but I will not lose my money to a scammer, so I will be waiting for your urgent response to my questions.
Sincerely Yours,
One of Your "Undisclosed Recipients"
I sent 2 additional e-mails, but both came back, informing me that the mailbox has been disabled. I'm disappointed. I wanted to tell the lowlife off, but this post will have to suffice. Now the world knows "Monica Sich" for the lowlife, lying thief that she really is.
