In its decision 17 of 24 March 2006, the GoverningCouncil established basic principles for the distribution of compensationpayments to successful claimants. This decision was made two months beforethe resolution of the first instalment of claims before the Commission. However, forhumanitarian reasons, all category "B" claims will be paid in full of atotal US$150,000.
